NeuroKids is helping to build capacity to treat hydrocephalus and spina bifida at the Sourb Astvatsmayr Medical Centre in Yerevan.

There is significant interest in NeuroKids support across Brazil. Currently, we are supporting the training of several pediatric neurosurgeons, based in Sao Paulo and Amazonia Belem.

Addressing the impact of hydrocephalus in Côte d’Ivoire requires a multifaceted approach, encompassing improved healthcare infrastructure, increased access to specialized medical resources, and enhanced community support networks.

Through two dedicated physicians at Ain Shams University Medical School, we are closing the gap in surgical training for children with hydrocephalus and spina bifida.

Recognizing the high incidence of hydrocephalus, the General Hospital H. Adam Malik in Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, has partnered with us in 2022 to train providers in the Warf Procedure.

In Amman, Jordan, the Al Bashir Hospital has received upgraded equipment and families now have increased access to specialized medical resources to treat hydrocephalus.

We are currently partnering with two hospitals in Kenya, providing specialized surgical training, mentorship, and ongoing support to empower Kenyan neurosurgeons.

In addition to training, NeuroKids has provided equipment to our partners at the Rabat Reference Center at Mohammed V University, Rabat, Morocco.

In Nigeria, we are partnering with two teaching hospitals to train a cadre of pediatric neurosurgeons skilled in the Warf Procedure.

Since 2022, we have partnered with Dr. Peter Ssenyonga and Dr. Justin Onen at the Mulago National Referral Hospital in Uganda to provide lifesaving services for children.

We have been involved in Vietnam for more than 25 years, training neurosurgeons at sites nationwide to build surgical skills and save children’s lives.
