Sergio Mainetti, MA

Mr. Sergio Mainetti is a global development expert who supported international development and disability programs since 1987, trying to improve the quality of life of persons with disabilities, and perceptions of them. He has worked for more than 30 years with international organizations on development and humanitarian projects.

A strong manager, Mr. Mainetti has developed and implemented strategic country plans, providing leadership and strategic vision to local staff and partners in countries ranging from South Sudan to Nigeria, Malwai to Zambia. He works to develop and nourish partnerships and alliances with local NGOs and governments, focusing on local capacity building. He has also developed organizational and country-level safety and security policies, standard operation plans, and emergency response plans while providing a robust structure to the in-country administrative and financial programs’ processes.

Mr. Mainetti holds a Master’s in Advanced Studies of Humanitarian Logistics and Management.
