Jacob Lepard, MD

Dr. Jacob Lepard is a pediatric neurosurgeon based in Atlanta, Georgia. He first became aware of our global mission when he met Dr. Ben Warf in 2017 and found an example of how to combine a passion for neurosurgery with serving the underserved around the world. He joined NeuroKids when the organization was launched in 2020.

Born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine and completed his neurosurgical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During this time, he participated in an enfolded fellowship in global neurosurgical research and education through the Harvard Program for Global Surgery and Social Change. 

He now practices full-time pediatric neurosurgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta/Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, with an emphasis on hydrocephalus and congenital disorders.
