Robin Schmid

Robin Schmid brings more than a decade of experience in international development, philanthropy, and communications to her role as Strategic Communications Manager at NeuroKids. She leads donor communications and reporting across the organization, supporting grants and partnerships that strengthen NeuroKids’ mission to improve care for children with hydrocephalus and spina bifida globally.

Robin has spent much of her career working outside the United States, including several years in Guatemala supporting community-led development and women’s rights. Her work spans grassroots nonprofits, research and consulting projects, and large international organizations, where she has helped shape communications and donor partnerships across Latin America, Africa, and Asia.

She holds a master’s degree in Global Affairs from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Robin is passionate about sharing stories that elevate local leadership, foster connection, and inspire collective action.
