Meskerem Denekew

Born and raised in Ethiopia, Meskerem Denekew joined NeuroKids in 2022 as a senior program coordinator. From 2015 to 2022, she was a care coordinator with Cure Hydrocephalus based at the Zewditu Memorial Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Previously, she worked in various governmental and non-governmental organizations primarily in coordinator and managerial positions.

Ms. Denekew holds a Master’s Degree in Holistic Child Development and Educational Leadership. She also has a diploma in Clinical Nursing from Miracle Nursing College and a Bachelor‘s Degree in Major Theology with a minor in Community Development from Evangelical Theological College.

Since she began working with children affected by hydrocephalus and spina bifida and their families, she has been devoted to helping them have the best, most effective services available.
