Edith Mbabazi-Kabachelor, MD MPH
PROGRAM ADVISOR
Dr. Edith Mbabazi-Kabachelor has dedicated her life to caring for sick infants, investigating common illnesses, and learning, supporting, and teaching others how to treat and take care of them. For more than a decade, she has focused on providing medical services, public health leadership, and research geared toward improving children’s health.
Dr. Edith seeks to continue to make a difference in the lives of children, leveraging on combining the vocational training of a medical degree with research expertise in the niche of child global health, the neurosciences, diagnostic tech innovations, and infectious diseases epidemiology.
Her goal is to continue to change the narrative for the better for these children who make up the vital statistics on dashboards, and sometimes never make it to the agenda of boardroom discussions. Ultimately, focusing on prioritizing systems and policies to support them not only survive but thrive.
